Ambreco, Inc. is contractor for the USDA to provide tank crossings in the maneuver areas located at Ft. Hood, Texas. The project is a (5) year effort administrated by the NRCS to take waste material (rock) by virtue of our mining efforts at the Ft. Hood landfill; transport to the maneuver areas and create a crossing. The rock structure also serves a dual purpose in creating filtration devices for water runoff. Also, the rock crossings screen sediment thereby, replenishing the erosion ditches with new soil.
