In March 1992, Robert Dominguez Jr., of Belton, Texas, formed Ambreco as a Sole Proprietorship. Ambreco addressed many growth opportunities in general contracting, specialized concrete construction, met the needs of a rapidly expanding Central Texas market that took advantage of SBA business development assistance.

In 1998, the U.S. Small Business Administration approved Ambreco as a SBA 8(a) certified company with a participatory term of nine (9) years, beginning January 2, 1998. The principle focus at that time was work in Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code 1451 -- Concrete, Concrete Paving, Asphalt, Site Work and General Contracting as the firms major products or service.

Since Ambreco's inception in 1992, the company has transformed from a sole proprietorship concrete and paving company to a General Contracting Corporation. Ambreco formally incorporated January 2002.
